Short-Term Intern and Study Abroad Programs

Mid-May Internship Programs

Each year we offer a six-week summer internship starting in mid-May, for those who do not have much time to go abroad, in all of our intern abroad locations: Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico and Uruguay. Apply by March 15.

You complete two weeks of intensive language classes, then a full month interning in your field of study. Two- or three-month summer internships are always better, because they let you dive deep into projects, but for those short on time this six-week option is ideal, and it gets you a head start on the summer crowds.

Observation and Research Placements in Scotland

Our five-week summer program in Edinburgh is a hybrid of an internship and an education and research program. There is a heavy emphasis on research and clinical experience, and hands-on work experience to be gained as well.

We place in Agricultural Business, Wildlife, Horticulture and Gardening, the Royal Zoological Society, Psychology, Speech and Hearing Sciences, and Veterinary Practice. The program is rigorous and competitive, and you work alongside esteemed professionals and researchers in the field.
